Invitation to the Thanksgiving Service
感謝祭礼拝へのお誘い
O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
主に感謝せよ、主は恵みふかく、
そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない。

感謝祭礼拝を、11月23日（日）、午後１時より、当講堂にて行ないます。この礼拝はズームでも配信されます。みなさま、どうぞお誘いあわせの上、ご出席ください。
この特別の礼拝は、一年を通して受けた恵みを神に感謝するために、毎年世界各地のキリスト教科学の教会で開かれています。
礼拝は、日本語で、証しは日・英両ヵ国語で行われ、各証しは訳されます。
なお、当日の日曜礼拝は、通常通り、午前10時より開かれます。
皆さま、お誘いあわせの上、是非お越しください。この特別な日に、
共に神に対する感謝を新たにいたしましょう。オンラインでの参加はfccstokyo@gmail.comにご連絡ください。
You are warmly invited to join us for our Thanksgiving Service which will be held on Sunday, November 23, at 1 pm.
The Thanksgiving service is held once a year at Christian Science churches around the world to give gratitude to God for the blessings received throughout the year.
The service will be conducted in Japanese with testimonies in either English or Japanese. Each testimony will be translated.
Our Sunday Service on that day will be held at 10 a.m. as usual.
All are most welcome to join us.
Let us renew our gratitude to God on this special day.

ファーカス講師はキリスト教科学の家庭に育ち、日曜学校に通いました。そこで、神に祈る事によって様々な問題から助けられることを学びました。親指の怪我、扁桃腺炎、外耳炎、いじめなど、いくつもの困難が癒されました。
大学院修了後、ニューヨーク市の画廊や美術館で働いた後、ニューメキシコ州のタオ市に夫と共に移り住み、音楽演奏家としての仕事を楽しみつつ、家庭を築きました。さらに何度も即座の癒しを経験することにより、キリスト教科学をより深く学び、それを他の人々と分かち合うようになりました。彼女は現在フルタイムのキリスト教科学実践士および教師として活動しています。
Ms. Farkas was raised in Christian Science and attended the Christian Science Sunday School where she learned to pray to God for help in all kinds of trouble. This led to healings of a severed thumb, tonsillitis, swimmer’s ear, and bullying, among other difficulties.
After graduate school, she worked for galleries and museums in New York City. She and her husband moved to Taos, New Mexico where she enjoyed a career in music performance and started a family. Further instantaneous healings led her to study Christian Science more deeply and share it with others. She is now a full-time Christian Science practitioner and teacher.
